All members are encouraged to invite guests of Norwegian heritage to our meetings. Our goal is to become 50 members strong, so there's plenty of room for growth right now! Other ancestry folks are also welcome as our bylaws allow for 10%
non-Norse membership. Hey, someone has to row!

Ship Ahoy, All Members and Friends:

"The Ship Phoenix is out of
Dry-dock"

This will be a fantastic Fall and Winter at our prestigious Norwegian Fish Club. With all the home cooked dinners prepared by our Norwegian Ladies we will not forget. It has been an honor to be your Skipper and host. We are now coming out of summer dry-dock and our ship "Phoenix" welcomes back all crew and guests to share fellowship while enjoying a wonderful Norwegian fish feast.

Please remember that your membership fee of $25.00 is due. If you can bring a check to this dinner meeting, it would be much appreciated.

April 2008 Meeting


Last club dinner until the fall, and what do we see, why a Smorgasbord! (Click on this picture and it will take you to webshots.com for more pictures of the evening!	Another interesting note regarding the evening: there was a large contingency of ladies present! Was it to hear Cliff play his accordion?

Perhaps they came to see Mel's trophy heads that he's been collecting since his Viking days......OK, since he made them out of papier-mâché awhile back...	Everyone seemed to have a great time! Click on above picture and see the rest of the shots taken during the dinner meeting.

Including Sheriff Joe Arpaio, who officially became an honorary Norwegian Fish Club Member.	Our ship now comes into dry dock through the summer months. Make plans to join us in October!

March 2008 Meeting


The ladies served a delicious Salmon Dinner with all the fixing's!	Our speaker had to cancel out at the last minute, and guess who won the door prize, for a short time, anyway.

Many members brought their children, all adults since our members are a bit more "mature" than in other clubs. Since there were so many "guests" they ALL became the evening speakers.	Cliff won the second drawing for the Easter Basket. Skipper's wife Judy was the one who made up the door prize and just didn't want to see it come back home!
